Introducing EMBROID. A collection of beautiful products made with ethical slow practices from artisans in South India using STSC's most gorgeous, sustainable textiles and integrating circular design principles; traceability, zero waste, minimizing transporting footprint using textiles and manufacturing practices to promote usability, durability, longevity and circularity.
I've added some pieces of jewellery pieces by master jeweller Alam, stunning water colour paintings by resident artist Sohan Lal and sweet hand embroidery by Suja, using silk thread on our organic cotton and LENZING™ Tencel™ Satin.
I'm doing this to share the beauty and care of the people in Kovalam, Kerala plus to support the artisans of this little seasonal town that is already experiencing daily negative environmental impacts by the increasing climate crisis. I'm using my time here to support a number of little business and put everything in place to flourish. This is so we can collectively give them a profound sense of support and hope.
